Greenwood Groundspread Ltd has been around for a long, long time, 50 years now!!
We do fertiliser, and lime, and a few other things.
We mainly look after dairy farms beef/sheep farms in the wider Rodney area, but also do lifestyle blocks and smaller lots.
We are the Tomarata consignment store for Ballance fertiliser, so we can bring bulk or bags down from Whangarei for you, and dump at your place or spread it for you.
Let’s talk lime - we have big bits of lime for filling in holes, smaller bits of lime for your farm races, and pulverised ag lime for your paddocks, all organic and free-range, sourced from the western slopes of sunny Wellsford. We have tonnes of lime!!
We have big trucks and bigger trucks, red and white and shiny. We have tractors too, a John Deere and a couple of newer Deutz-Fahrs (jury is still out on those). And we have a bunch of trailers for various jobs.
Our staff are great, all decent blokes and a bunch of experience between them.
What else do you want to know? Post peelings and stuff like that? Yep, we got it all, we can get you a truck load from Topuni Timber to keep your calf shed sweet or to keep your garden mulched for years. Got a lifestyle block? Need a few acres spread with fertiliser to grow grass for your 14 alpacas? We can do that too.
So call Michael if you want a quote, as each job is different. It depends how far away from the depot and/or the quarry you are, and a few other factors, as to what it will cost. 0274 33 6665.
Need a digger? Alvin and his 13 tonne digger might be just what you need to make holes or fill in holes or dig a big ditch or whatever.
Cultivation, power harrowing? Yep and yep.
Call Michael on 0274 33 6665 or on
09 423 8871
(That’s a landline for you young folk.)
Or email, but you’ll get Jo in the office who knows nothing about trucks and tractors, but she can nag Michael to get stuff done.
